Paypal Transaction Not Authorized Hold?
About a week ago I sold an item & soon after receiving payment in my account I got an email from Paypal saying that they suspected that the transaction from the buyer may not have been authorized. They put a hold on the funds and opened a case.
I responded immediately, explained what was sold, etc., and also contacted the buyer. He said he used his sister's account, and that the account was limited due to the transaction. He said his sister called paypal and they were going to send him something in the mail to verify (he's in the UK), so I just had to wait.
I did and today he sent me a message saying that everything was cleared up on his end. I checked in on the payment in my account & it's still showing as being on hold... anyone else had this problem? I'm wondering if there's something else I need to do or...? Does Paypal even work on the weekends?
