Default Why do some users have a 21 day hold?

I just opened up my account last month, everything has been going really good so far. I have sold around three grand in used cell phones/ mp3 players, and etc. How come I don't have the 21 day hold?

You're seriously asking why you DON'T have the 21 day hold? Consider yourself somewhat "blessed".

Would be cool for few of us to analysis how you setup your account and how you "eased" into 3k worth of sales in 1 month (!) but I would NOT recommend discussing this out in an open forum like this.

PM me if you would like - we can take it from there.

Sometimes it doesn't start right way. I didn't starting start receiving the 21 day hold till after my 20th item sold.

From what I've noticed, 21 day hold only comes into play after a certain number of days has passed from your first sale.

True point but in this case if the seller has a month history...also depends how many items he has sold, true.

You seem to be the only one then. High risk items, selling 3k in 1st month. If you really did this explain it to me as mentioned above. I would be interested in how you registered as well. PM though

I just recently got the 21 day hold on an account that is 1 1/2 years old.

I think they are tossing darts and hitting anything that moves.

3k in this category, you have been very lucky.

Agreed. Have no clue how this was pulled off successfully with those products and sales revenue on such a new account.

This account is under my wife's real information, she is totally fine with it. Nothing to hide really, I've been buying low on craigslist and selling high on eBay. I list every item as it is, no funny business. Plus I have received positive feedback on everyone of my transactions so far.
