Post UPS shipment rerounting?

I was wondering if i could "request delivery change" on UPS.
Im buying something off my stealth paypal account on Eastbay and i dont have access to the address on that paypal account...
I was wondering if its possible to "request delivery change" on UPS.. they have a button for it when your tracking your shipment..Does it get changed on Paypal, can paypal see it.. Has anyone have experience doing this?

You won't be able to do anything on your end. Call EB and tell them if they could call ups and re-route the order. 70% chance it won't happen, sorry.

I know USPS is free but my guess is that UPS is not free. EB would probably want to avoid doing all the work because of your mistake so they will probably say "no its our policy to ship to pp address only"

I guess what I meant was the only way to reroute a package is if the sender does the work. You can reroute it to anyhere you want for a price. AND it also depends on its location. They explain that when you fill out the paperwork for it.

You are right, in most cases there is no way the seller will change it to an address that they are not covered with. I wouldnt.

its a reroute Button on UPS. it has nothing to do with the seller, which in this case is EASTBAY..

I mean the sender regardless of what or how they sold it is the only one that can change the delivery address.

I have tried it both ways and the only time they allowed me to do so was on a package that I sent myself.

The part I was talking about with the confirmed addresses was a paypal thing

They would only cover the payment for seller if they sent to a confirmed address.

If a buyer of any site that pays with paypal asks the seller to send to a non confirmed address he shouldn't do it as he will not be covered by their policies.

Thats all I meant

The only way I have gotten Fedex and UPS to reroute as a buyer, is if they can not find your address. They never could find my house, so after intial delivery failed? I called them and asked to deliver package to another nearby address.

Yeah you might be able to do it that way or even say drop it off at a neighbors house but if you want them to pluck it out of transit and readdress it completely its more complicated.

All you can do is ask them.. They will give you the most accurate info. Good luck.
