Default Feedback revision (not eligible for some reason)

I always have Near perfect DSR's but had a customer that didnt understand how to use something post a pos. that said "adapter was missing but no problem" I noticed though that he had to have gave me a 3 DSR on As "described" for it to drop like it did.

The new replacement part didnt require the old adapter that was used in the past. The part was a direct fit instead. Much improved items really.

Anyway I told him this and said I would probably send a revision request.

I tried to file one just now and I get all the way to the request and it says that I do not have any feedback eligible for the request at this time.

I have never use one so I know I am not maxed out.

Anyone use these requests that can tell me what I am doing wrong here. I read all of the info on ebay and nothing says it has to be a neg or neutral at all. it says revisions can be for feedback or dsr's left by buyer.

Nevermind I will delete this, it won't work what I originally put in this post. I just tried it

She will have to tell Ebay who that feedback was suppose to be left for (if not you).
Ebay loves to keep the DSRs because it is how they make money, not giving the 20% discount on fees. Their excuse in your case is likely going to be she left you a positive so that nulls the ability for her to change the DSR's...just a guess...

Just checked this and talked to someone on chat about it. They allow the buyer to change ONLY if they left a neutral or negative. If they left a Positive then its not eligible for a feedback revision.

I found all the link areas you mentioned but all lead to errors saying that its either not eligible for filing the revision or if I was the buyer I cannot change it due to it not being a neg or neutral.

I have researched this to death now and it sucks.

Well Crap.... Oh well, atleast it wasnt a neg or a low 1 or 2 dsr that would screw with my account status. Just hated that a moron did that without even thinking first. He was completely mistaken but that is how buyers are now.

They could do a revised statement but that counts for nothing. Seems a lot around recently.

Seems if they gave me a pos anyway there is nothing the buyer can do. It only allows changing if there was a neg or neutral so I will have to deal with it.

That's unfortunate, but like you said at least it's not a 1 or 2.

A thought here....

As stated Ebays policy is to remove FB if buyer left the feedback for the wrong Seller, but the policy DOES NOT specify the Seller must be on the Ebay platform.

Buyers request would need to be called in by the buyer as the prompts on Ebays software will request the name of the Seller of whom the feedback was intended for and the Seller is not w/ebay platform so...well just a thought for what it is worth

I recently had feedback removed. The buyer never paid for the item, but left a low dsr for shipping. I could ask to have it removed, but its the only bad dsr I have so I never bothered.
