ebay phishing emails

does anyone think, or know if ebay sends ⊗⊗⊗⊗ emails to sellers posing as buyers? emails either asking about ending an auction early, or asking i can accept paypal for my adult products i am selling. i never asnwer those types of emails through my ebay messaging system. actually i am too paranoid to even end an auction early and sell the product on the side for a set price.

I've gotten some that seem so fishy I think they are really from eBay. There's really no way to prove it for sure though.

Yes they randomly ask questions on items, especially VERO. They ask, can you send me more pictures or this or that, or can you guarantee this or that. Sometimes they ask questions just to see if you respond to any questions. Just keep that in mind when you get a buyer question, could be ebay checking you out.

i figured as much. they're a bunch of crooks, and if they are sending those emails, it's entrapment.

I find that unless my account is a power seller, I have to email ebay over and over again before they answer. I have one account that's mere bronze power seller and ebay answers emails from it within two hours usually.

Jonas, have you found that emailing them too much annoys them? And
they act like bad towards you.

Yeah I would be careful especially with adult products cause of age limits
