Default If I paid my fees with ppal once, should I do so always?

I know it's suggested that we use a prepaid credit card to pay our eBay fees...and I usually do on my stealth account.

But, I slipped up one month, and eB ay withdrew the fees from my connected PPal account.

So, since they withdrew from my account once, is it still important that I pay my fees with a prepaid money card?

BTW, my stealth account isn't "true" stealth.
I'm using a friend's ID, address, name and info (with their full knowledge)

Really? Nobody can offer assistance with this?
Several of you always tout that we should pay our fees with gift cards...though nobody ever really says why it's a bad idea to pay our fees with ppal.

So, I would think you could offer some assistance with my question.
Maybe my Q is poorly worded tho, and not clear?

If you already know the answers then dont ask the question, anyways. Paying with PP is all about linking between EB and PP. The less linking there is the better.

If you already payed it once then continue paying it cuz it's already linked between the two. EB and PP always store that info in their servers. I would just continue that way, but try not to do it on any future "stealth" accounts.

I have paid off accounts with pp rather than gift cards. If you keep everything unlinked, not such a big problem. Just keep a nice rolling reserve in pp.

I'm confused.
You guys act like if we don't pay out EB fees, with our PP account, then the two aren't linked.

You can't even sell on EB without giving EB a PP account, so they're linked right from the start! What am I missing?

Long thread about this written up by the well-educated Slapped (I think) or some other high member - ha sorry been awhile since I delved into old material.

Paying by gift card allows more info for eb ay (another card) and we know how they like info...

So that sounds like you are a proponent of us paying our fees, using our linked pp account. I thought the suggestion was to use a gift card.

Sounds like conflicting information.

I stand seperately from all the other opinion on this. I always link EB and PP and I pay my fees every Saturday before my final draw down for that week.

It may not be good stealth but it works for me.

Where I haven't got a payment hold or rolling reserve I always keep the last 3 sales in the box
