Default My worst day of my life

I did a pretty good starting this year with ebay. All my accounts were suspended this morning. all 40 of them making me about 4-6 k a month.

I got mc999 on all of them. I have exhausted all my google checkout accounts so I won't get hit with the 1099k. Very sad day for me and a lesson hard earned.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

That is some bad luck there. Bigger question though. If all 40 of them got suspended at once then something had to have linked all of them together. Were you doing everything the proper way to keep them separate?

Default mistakes

well, I got greedy with the fees.

First of all I just found out like last year there is a way to by pass all the fees. Yes you heard it right no more fees. or if so maybe you will just pay 3% of your total ebay fees.

I used google checkout and all of my listings are copy paste on the instructions on how to pay by google

My tethered phone that I used for 2 years has been to much used that I might have missed the IP and could have been used.

Listings are almost identical. I dont take paypal.

Also, new thing that I found out that no one can leave you negative feedback ever. and I guess someone reported me for that.

I guess I have to buy a camera now and take other payment options

Alll of my account lasted about 2 years or so

Cardo brings up the right point - how were they all linked?

as i said, all accounts accept google checkout and the wordings are similar. It could have been my Ip address that linked all of them. They are all suspended at the same time at the very second.

Its mc999, I dont know why they are all suspended.

all accounts are separated by different windows user account so cookies are not a problem, unless my phone tethering option saves the cookies on the phone and then transferred on the computer,

I will start from scratch again but please do point out what could have linked them all. Thanks

you could not integrate gogole checkout to ebay. but with little tricks you could get around it. I have to send invoice manually. About 80% of winning bidders pay so if my gross sales is 16k. About 12k is the total payment.

I found out what is the cause of my suspension. since I used thunderbird on all my email and being so lazy I dont login to each account to reply on the buyer, this messaging is integrated within ebay and ip is so exposed thus suspending me. I will take some baby steps and have to re establish how to do business again and a lesson hard learned

That would do it. 40 accounts is pretty bad, though. Always use different user accounts, NEVER reply via email (always log into each eBay account separately).

dont loose hope, it looks like you had a good system and you learned from your mistakes. Start it back up you'll be back at 40 accts before you know it.

That sounds like a heck of a lot of work, I wish I could run 40 accts but with 2 littles ones its hard enough running 2-3.

Did you have a system in place to block pp payments? As this is an open forum, you don't need to post it out in the open.

doubt it was IP, as a few repeats would not do it, its the GC link or most probably the identical listings.....

I've used Paymate for quite some time but you can not do it stealth. They do a credit check on you first. I've found it's a great alternative to Paypal. Takes a little more work though.

I've been tethering for over a year now with the same phone, logged into 100's of accounts since then and never been linked, so it couldn't of been the tethering. Sounds like you linked all 40 accounts through Thunderbird to 1 ip? along with identical listings on all 40 all taking google checkout, that would be a huge give away, surprised you lasted that long.

You made it so a person could not leave negative feedback?? Love to see how that is done!

yes its by thunderbird, there is no way my IP because I have some accounts that I haven;t registered with thunderbird yet and my listings are still up

the no negative feedback hint, yes but buyers could still leave neutral feedback, I am not sure if it could be taken out. It only works if you dont take paypal.

the no fee is the ultimate thing I discovered. Well I pay about 100$ for about 16k -20k gross sales. so do the math..... This could be only done if you don't take paypal. Yes Im a no. 1 paypal hater. Unless my item got sold so high and my customer refused to pay with my GC then I take it and buy something on ebay.

GC has been the best checkout I have used since I started on ebay. I dont know why others have been complaining but I do get chargebacks and they take care of it (only works if your buyer complains that they didn't receive the item) which you will only need to provide the tracking no.

Something is not adding up here.

You said the accounts are two years old and you were doing 4-6 k per month.

Then you said all 40 accounts had 50 feedback.

No way do you do 4k per month for 2 years and only have 50 fb.

Then you mention Modee who taught you had to scam ebay out of fees.

Something smells here.

For you to run 40 accounts for two years successfully and get all 40 taken down at once is qalso odd because you would have made the same mistake at least once in two years by accident.

Did they all go down because you did not pay your fees and you finally got caught?

I could not lose 40 accounts in one day on purpose I don't think.

@ Sandy (I know there will be a hater in this forum thats why I went to hiatus for a while)

that 4k a month was slow. Too bad. and please do the math. All I need to make per account is 100$ to make that 4k. Fifteen + of my accounts have limit raised to 5k because I provided invoice and got verified.

I guess you are too smart to not lose 40 accounts on 1 time. I am sorry but I am a learner everyday.

As I said, I just used thunderbird recently on all my active accounts and IP linked it all because I email all my customers via thunderbird. I am not as smart as you and good luck with your ebay sales.
