Has this buyer opened a case against you for not receiving the item?

If you have the proof of postage from the post office that says the item is delivered then you are fine.
You can supply the tracking number to paypal and ebay showing that the buyer signed for the item.

well if she leaves you negative feeback you can contact ebay, and they will review the rating and see if there is grounds for removal.

They do not always remove feedback. It depends on what the buyer writes.

If it has anything which is written in there which is abusive or deliberately written to make you lose sales, you can open a 'deformation of charater' case on ebay and trust and safety will remove it if it meets the criteria.

I Have the link to the form if anyone needs it

They do not removed feedback for u, they just removed the contents of the feedback.

After that, it is still a negative feedback

One thing in business is you cant please everyone. Could you imagine if Wal-Mart and a about me page with a feedback? They would have so many negatives its be nuts. Will people still buy from them...Yes. I don't know of one business that has pleased every customer 100% ever. As long as your treating your customers how you want to be treated and being respectful, your business should always have returning customers

If you shipped the item to the buyer's address that was written on the paypal transaction page, and have signature if the item is worth more than $250, then you're good. However, eBay will most likely not remove the negative feedback even if he left one unwarranted.

If it's not alot of $, I'd just refund him to save the feedback rating

People like to buy from those who have 100%

But before that, let him know you will file a lost case, or whatever you call it with the post office. They can contact his mailman to see if they recall delivering the item

Im with Melissa1971, I would rather refund the buyer than get a negative rating.

Or you can send the item again,if you still have it in stock.
I personally prefer that.
Ebay does remove feedback even if you dont ask for it. Happened to me last week. The customer even contacted me why is the feedback removed?
I told him I dont know, you can ask Ebay.

130/Power Seller.....I would consider this a virgin on ebay. Having hundreds of thousands of feedback at 99.99% positive, and millions of items sold, there is one thing you can count on. You will never please everyone, and there is no way to protect yourself from scamming, lying, or predetermined bad buyers. If you have quality items and only sell quality items than you do more than amazing on ebay. I would also like to add that anyone who has an issue or wants to complain will always complain, but wayyyyy more buyers that are happy and have no issues, will not even thank you or give positive feedback. I think that last comment I made was the most frustrating one.

I have a powerseller account with 150 feedbacks and have received 3 negatives, One buyer actually left a feedback a month afterwards saying they found the item cheaper elsewhere, Can you believe that.

Anyway got all 3 feedbacks revised by either refunding or discussing with buyer however in the process also learned you can only request 5 feedback revisions for every 1000 feedbacks you receive so I expect someone to leave a neg eventually which I won't be able to do anything about.

As some have stated it is impossible to please everyone and some buyers really are just w*****s.
