So I just made a huge order and this guy shipped via hongkong post ems since its safer than regular ems he told me. True or no? I will find out in a week or so when I receive my items...
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
Keep in mind unless you have a long term or trust between each other they are going to ship as cheap as possible. If it is light weight they will ship hk post. If it is over the given weight they will ship ems since it is a little cheaper, and if you have a long term and trusted relationship they will usually ship dhl.

NO...speak to your supplier. I am sure they used HKEMS, which is also referred to as HK Post. Trust me on this, I have used it for a few years.
HKEMS is just as fast as DHL, and even faster because once it's in USPS hands, they can deliver on Saturdays. Unlike the ignorant jacka*ses at DHL who are employed as independent contractors and have no clue what the f*ck they are doing half the time.
Hong Kong Post is great and i find the safest method of posting....
With EMS/DHL times don't varry much but with HKpost i have had packages take 3-30 days with the average being around 10-12 obviously it may differ slightly in the US...
Both HKpost and ChinaPost are horrible man. You might be looking at about 20 days. Hopefully you didnt have anything sensitive shipped, or else it might be all banged up by the time you get it. DHL cost more, BUT tends to have more customs issues.
However it's faster and at least you have up-to-date tracking in the event there's issues.
Hong Kong Ems isnt great, I think the best out of all the ems services on offer from china is singapore ems. Your supplier probably shipped you hk ems as it was the cheapest option available when they checked the weight against the destination.
Theres not a huge difference between all the ems (guangzhou, shenzhen, hong kong and singapore) they usually arrive within the same timeframes +/- 1 day.
