All new selling accounts have 10 item limits per month until you are verified with paypal and then it will increase to 100 items a month.

But they have monthly checks as well to increase/decrease your limits.

The 100 item upgrade is not guarenteed for all countries. For instance, it does nothing here in Canada.

It was once believed that certain strategies on opening accounts certain ways.. certain methods of mix and matching when trying to open/register on ebay/paypal... but seems as if it was a "glitch" on accounts with no limits ...
seems like it got fixed

pain is my Fiance opened up a stealth... FIRST ONE she opened.. bam NO LIMITS im like wth.. i opened up about 30 and mayb one without limits lol

but other then that.. still haven't found an exact science on that...

The only thing that sort of helps with the limits is aging. I made a 6 month old account into a seller and it doesn't have the 10/$1000 limit, it does however have a limit in each category (of what I think is 10, but they don't tell me).

So if you're bored one night go ahead and make some accounts to just let age. I can't stress how important this is. Even if it seems like "Yeah I can just make it in a week, it's the same" It won't be the same, because you'll probably end up procrastinating again. Plus, every week counts.

I made an account randomly one night on Aug-28 and now I'm super happy I did it because I have an account that's almost 2 months old and all it took was 20 minutes of my time that I would've wasted doing something dumb.

thanks for advice. so you suggest we shall open up ebay buyer accounts and don't change them to seller accounts immediately...

how about set up seller in the first day and wait for like 3 months, will the limit be taken off if nothing is done on the accounts..?

I will also try these and post results here.

That's what has worked for me recently. I haven't tried making them into sellers right away but it's probably the same thing. The 90-day evaluation period starts from the date of your first sale so it's not like you can wait it out really.
Maybe if you make 1 sale at the beginning and then wait..? Still not sure.

I also don't know what RedShootingStar is no no-ing about

Earlier this year I was hearing from a few reliable members that if you link your e Bay account to the paypal account the limits automatically raise from 10/1000 to higher limits. Not sure if that changed now.
