I gave ebay my real number

OK so I called e bay recently, about my stealth account. Had to do that because I couldn't edit an item listing for some reason, they fixed it.
Anyway they asked for my phone number. I have accidentally given them my real phone number which is associated with my real, suspended account.
She didn't seem to even check it, and just said "OK" and continued with my request.
Usually they don't hear me well because I call them from skype, and re-ask me when I give them something like a phone number or email address.
This time she didn't ask anything about it.
So did I just link two accounts or it was just a careless representative who didn't check the number I gave her?

With pp, I would have said yes, linked - with eb, you might be ok but don't be surprised if you get hit with a suspension down the road. Prepare for the worst but I wish you all the best.
