Default Merchant INC Merchant account setup.

I was approved instantly for a merchant INC merchant account. What's the next step to get me setup to use it for sales on Ebay.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Merchantinc is a division of first data and they provide exceptional service and $7.95 month 1.99% processing $.25 per transaction TOTAL fees for EVERYONE. I spoke to a support rep on the phone and were extremely helpful. She explained the rates on the site are standardized so you pay what I pay.

I should have the account totally setup by tomorrow to accept all major credit card. Most accounts take 24 hours to setup. From the beginning to first card acceptance.

Here's the link although they are only available in the US, and they deposit the money to your bank account in 3 days.
PayPal Alternative, Alternatives To PayPal, Merchant Account, Accept Credit Cards Online - Home

Salehoo Wholesale website owner uses them and after reading his integration methods on eliminating Paypal as the middle man with Ebay after putting into effect the new 21 day hold. Shopping cart integration is very easy and the support I received so far is great.

May just be a lot of noobers trying to go the merchant account way without any idea how to properly use such or set up such a service.

There is actually quite a bit of reading needed to be done first before going this route, care to share your experience RSOT?

Figure I have been with them for 5 years now, only thing is the fee games they play but other then that dealing with them has been a smooth ride.

Dont assume.

3 years ago First Data offered services and then made cancellation of same very hard. Their carefee application of fees makes them a problem.

Users in question were not 'noobers'

Sadly I did not do my research with First Data beforehand...it was not the fees that were problematic.

I won't put my story out in the open like this but I don't mind sharing via pm. They cause me SUCH A HEADACHE with my bank that I might be losing my relationship with a bank due to them...a bank I have been with for 15+ years - disgusting.

I never really got abused by them, just that compared to other services they tend to have a higher fee structure which I am ok with. You can negotiate when renewing contract, also I guess maybe it depends on what you sell maybe how strict they are. IDK maybe I am just the lucky one like with Ally bank seems what gives problems to others works for me, knock on wood.
