Default Add paypal account for "global trade"?

Okay, so I'm trying to list an item on a new account, and I'm getting the following message:

Quote:
Attention!

Thank you for participating in global trade on eBay. In order to begin selling your items on eBay sites not associated with your home country, you will need to take a few steps:

1) You will need to have a PayPal account that has been "Verified". Click on your country of eBay registration below to understand how to complete that process.

2) Once you have a PayPal account that is "Verified", please link your verified PayPal account to your eBay account.

If you already have a “Verified” PayPal account, and are still receiving this message, you need to link it to your eBay account. Once you have a verified PayPal account that is linked to your eBay account, you will be able to sell an item on any of eBay's sites worldwide.

For instructions on how to become PayPal Verified or how to link your PayPal account to your eBay account, please click on the site of your eBay registration below:

Australia | Austria | Belgium | Belgium French | Canada | Canada French | France | Germany | Hong Kong | India | Ireland | Italy | Malaysia | Netherlands | New Zealand | Philippines | Poland | Singapore | Spain | Sweden | Switzerland| Taiwan | Thailand | United Kingdom | United States | Other

Note: If you registered on Germany, Austria or Switzerland, you can complete verification through PostIdent or ID Verify instead of PayPal. Please click on the site you registered with for instructions.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Even thought I have specified shipping to the UK only, no international trade.

Any ideas?

you gotta verify the paypal account and then link it. ebay is retarded.

you probably listed the item ebay.com? or maybe accidentally specified shipping to overseas?

Nope, account was made in UK, on .co.uk, , I'm accessing the account on .co.uk, and I've specified UK only postage.
It's dam wierd.

I had this crop up when I added an international postage option.
The problem now is that I can't even list domestically on that account, unless I verify and link.
Had to open a new account and make sure I only had domestic postage.

Well, this account is brand new, it will be my first item for sale. It's a sellers account with cc and phone, just whenever I click sell, this message comes up. Doesn't even give me the option to create my listing now.

Meh. Looks like paypal accounts will be dropping as fast as ebay accounts how they have to be linked.

When you say international users, you mean anyone outside UK/US?

Well I thought I was able to list, but even though I specified domestic only it still threw up the 'you have to link' page.
This is all fast becoming one big joke.
