Default PayPal Debit Card Qualifications

Hey Guys - What are you qualifications usually when applying for a PayPal Debit Card... just curious... I Buy alot on Craigslist and resell on eBay and the cash flow sometimes is REQUIRED because transferring to bank account takes too long and by the time it hits my account, someone else has bought the item and reselling it on eBay just like US! Are SSN or DL or DOCS needed to fax in or what type of account history or specifications do you need to get approved for one? Thanks guys!

They made it harder to get those cards. Of course, that depends on your stealth or non-stealthness

1. Have a Verified Premier account or Verified Business account in the U.S.

2. Be a PayPal member for at least 60 days.

3. Have a confirmed physical street address (not a P.O. Box). This can be done by:

4. Be an active PayPal member in good standing.

5. Add your Date of Birth and your Social Security number to your PayPal account. **
6. Be 18 years of age
You can apply. They can reject the application.
And because they are such loverly people, they might not always tell you the reasons.

This bit of the account being in good standing means that if the account had a 21 day hold, it's a reject. If your ebay had a MC099, MC010 0r MC011 AND 60 days had elapsed, it can be a reject as well....

Paypal debit cards? pffftt, who needs em? I'm perfectly happy with 2-3 day bank transfers, plenty of time to relax.

Quick question:

When you add money or take money out from your paypal debit from ATM, does paypal send notification slips through the mail (like a real bank would) to your home address?

All that card does is show where you draw cash - not very good if your stealth account is in another part of the country.

I don't understand the interest in this as it just gives PP one more way of watching you. As JBluntz rightly says - 2-3days - I guess some people still don't get that there is no such thing as a free lunch - everything comes with a price.

Not good stealth at all IMO

@GrannyT, dont generalise.

Well created business account ( like you prefer) can use them well. Think outside the box

Curious on this one - no mention of needing SSN - with a business account and a valid ein can you qualify for one of these cards? Everything I've read says no but then again I haven't tried...
