Default anyone else's reimbursement method gone in eBay?

I just noticed that the reimbursement method (PayPal) I had set-up under "Personal Information" in eBay is gone. It now says that no reimbursement method has been selected and when trying to update it, it just asks for a credit/debit card, it's not possible to select PayPal anymore.

I read the eBay discussion boards and noticed many people with the same problem and 2 people reported that eBay told them it's a technical glitch and that it would be back to normal on November 1st.

Anyone experiencing the same?

Had the same problem on an account a few days ago. Could not add paypal as the reimbursement method and was forced to add a vcc.

Glad to hear it is another eBay "glitch" and hopefully they will sort soon.

Yes the same thing happened to me and i had to add a credit/debit card because it wouldnt let me list again without it.

I was completely confused about this since my account is in perfect standing.

Was the same for two US accounts on last week, but my AVS was good and fast solution for this.

So it's better till they fixed the glitch so that we can re add the PP back in, rather than getting another CC?

It looks like UK and some European users can't list at all until the glitch is fixed. I myself can list without adding a card, so no problems yet. I read on 2 eBay forum posts from 2 different people that called eBay were told that it was a glitch with the reimbursement method from PayPal, which make sense. We'll see on the 1st of November I guess.

I know, I was just joking too.

So it's Nov 3rd and that reimbursement method stays CC only.
No PP option.

How about your end?

Yes.... I have been listing and selling like usual. Few days ago I attempt to list an item and boom I get message that I need to update back-up payment method. Credit Card was the option.

Do Moneypack/greendot work for ebay?

When you create a seller and asks how you want to pay fees, the paypal option is still there for me.

I'm talking about an existing account that has lost the imbursement method.
And it only gave the cc or dc option instead of Paypal.

I do have an extra gift card but I really don't wanna use it if it's just a glitch on ebay's end
