Default ZashPay

I got so tired of paypal, that I started searching around. I came across this website. It looks really easy and may fit EXACTLY what I want. No merchant account, no gateway. I can just sell off my site and the money is sent to me. Me...I'm going to give it a try and see if my customers go for it. Anyone else use this site, or have comments, suggestions?

Default Zashpay vs paypal vs Merchant account

What happened was I was tired. Truly tired of the runaround with PP and merchant accounts. So I went to Spiffystores.com to build a site, because they accept manual credit card processing there my customers have the choice of major credit cards, but I get to choose how it is processsed. They also accept Paypal but I didn't want that.
Then I couldn't find a payment processor that would let me have freedom to run my store the way I see fit. So I then told my customers that I only accept Direct Deposit/Bank Deposit. It was fine until one of my customers paid via zashpay.
I looked into it and it looks good. So far I get my payments within one day.
Please look at my history here on this site. I am not a salesperson for this zashpay. Just a mom of four who is tired of the Paypal/merchant Account PRISON.
So far, I am happy with Zashpay. I am typing this because I love this forum. It has helped me beyond words and I know this site has some bigwigs that know WAY more about this kind of stuff than I do, so hopefully they will look into Zashpay and see if it is recommended. So far, I give it a two thumbs up.

ZashPay is pretty good, they have a good reputation as they are part of Fiserv, which basically runs most of the ACH system in the US. The major drawback at the moment is there is no 'request money' tab, only a 'send money' tab... which means you have to explain the system to each new customer. Quite odd for a system that probably transfers more funds than Paypal and Western Union combined. Surely they'll add one eventually, and at that point, they'll take a BIG bite out of Paypal's business.

One really good thing aboug ZashPay (for me anyway)... along with it's counterpart called PopMoney: is that as long as you're moving funds in the hundred to few thousand $ range, you're a very small transfer in the system because as mentioned ACH is the system that pretty much runs the banking and business system, so in the big picture, your transfers are inherently relatively small and unnoticed....because you're basically in the same giant pool that all the hotels, airlines, oil companies, drug companies, supermarket chains, etc. etc. use. That's the opposite of Paypal, which seems like you can get flagged for hundreds of things.

airsealed thanks for the post. I just signed up with popmoney. I am going to take it slow, but they seem pretty reasonable and didn't even ask for a SSN #.

Yeah, they don't ask for an SSN. That's because they only do bank to bank transfers and they assume (correctly) that your bank already has your SSN.

And good news for all who are using Zash Pay/Pop Money.... there is indeed now a 'request money' button.
