Default Paying in another currency

Hi

I have recently tried to sign up with an eb auction service - when I came to pay (they only accept money orders & pp) - I noticed that they were going to pull an echeque, so I quickly backed out.
I had a think about it, I was confused as there was enough funds in pp to pay. Then realised that the payment currency was in dollars and my funds are in pounds.
Can I convert the amount in pp, then try to pay?

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Thnak you

It didnt auto convert - it was going to take the funds via an echeque - which is obviously a no, no.

You can open up secondary currency balances.

Exactly what rsot said, open a secondary currency balance and add the required dollars to that, then make it primary currency and see if your payment goes through.
