Default Dial up

O.k I read everything here about dial up. Some people say it is the way to go others say not to because logging into ebay w/ different ip's all the time send up a red flag. But when I unplug to change my own ip it only changes by one number. If I unplug again, it changes back to the first number. I can see how it is not safe to use a proxy.

But what is the verdict w/dial up?

I was thinking, Before I got suspended, I had my account for over four years. I had to have logged into that account for ton's of different ip's At friends houses, my parents, vacation. All over the place

Only one time I hadn't used my pp account for a few months, (it was verified) when I went to log in again I had to go through the phone process.

So what do you think? safe or not safe

Default Connecting to dialup using a remote desktop

Has anyone ever done this?

My dad has a land line and a dialup connection. I of course only have a cell phone and cable.

Has anyone ever used a remote desktop to connect to a computer using dialup and allow yourself to change your ip by dialing up?

When I tried it you cant use both your cable connection to connect to the remote desktop and then disconnect that to connect via dialup.

My dad is a computer wiz and he was not able to figure it out. He was talking to me in another language describing why it wouldn't work. I understood it a little but I cant recite it here.

Has anyone had any luck doing this???
