Default Favoritism towards older accounts

I've read that there's favoritism as far as getting accounts suspended, perhaps items removed, etc.

but there is no older account favoritism in searching is there? Ebay core-site? Ebay Express? "Best Match" searching?

A competitor of mine has had their ebay account for maybe 10 years whereas mine is 1 year old. I notice there is some preferential search sorting in "best match" and ebay express.

We're both the same level powersellers so i'm not sure exactly what it is.

If you have too many neutral/negative feedbacks (over 5%) or if your star rating is under 4.5 average I think you get a hit in "Best Match" search results. But not sure if they've already implemented that yet, or it's planned to begin in May.

wow im going to guarantee some idiot buyers will confuse the two, lets say someone wants an item really fast, so theyll bid on the top item without looking at ending date. lets say that item ends in 7 days... there goes bid cancelations or negative feedback for taking so long
