Default Virtual / Online bank accounts

does anyone know anything about virtual bank accounts? If you know anything about them please inform me because i am thinking that would be WAY easier to create some sort of online virtual bank account than to run out and make a local one plus I could create a out of country bank account and venture into international seller accounts, I have noticed they seem to get away with allot more than us accounts. im still doing my own homework on these but if anyone has any experience with virtual or online bank accounts prefferably instant approval than please let me know.

It sure would be easier, but I'm afraid there is no such thing.
Bank accounts have to be opened at your local branch.

you can open swiss bank accounts online and have them hold your account in a specified currency, I think its a choice of US Dollars, Swiss Francs and Pounds Sterling. One has to be well informed about who they go with though, as some of them being "offshore" have a reputation for being bedroom operations, but there are some decent ones and it is perfectly legal - as far as I'm aware.

edit---
Also, if you're going for privacy with a swiss account, you cant get it in USA, because they now have a deal going with the US where they legally have declare certain things that are asked of them by the US government, but in the UK privacy is still tight. Though.. I'm not sure for what legal reasons you'd need it, and I'm not sure exactly why I know this information, I think I just got distracted and started researching swiss bank accounts.

netbank I remember did that. They charge a fee to close your account, though.

The easier I think is still to have a normal bank account that allow you to open sub-account online in 5 minutes, each sub-account have it's own number and they work like a normal account. Dunno in the US but here there is RBC, National bank, ING, Citi, HSBC, Capital one, Bank of America and Laurentian Bank that let you do that online (There maybe more that I'm not aware of).

Both ING and Wachovia in the USA offer these services.

i've got a UK HSBC account and don't know how to open a sub-account.
I think the HSBC online banking facilities are pretty much the same worldwide...

I don't know exactly for HSBC in the UK but here you can open saving accounts online so I guess you can in the UK too. Someone from the UK could help you more than me in this matter lol!

I had a look at HSBC UK and HSBC Australia. Seems that neither banks have this
facility but I will check to make sure.

hmm go on this website Anonymous ATM Card - Secure, Reliable and Full Privacy! i asked them and they said they had information that the anon debit has a bank account attached to it. so i think you can withdraw money from your paypal account to the anon debit card like a withdraw to a bank.
