what limits 10 or 100.
If 100 you are stuck with it unless you can jump through some serious hoops.

Well some accounts had 100 items because they were business seller accounts but some of them went to 10 items for no apparent reason. I am sure these limits can be removed or no one will be able to do business on eBay.

Give them a call and they will lift it for you.

they still wont lift them if you call... it will automatically increase from 10 to 20...... 90 days after you sell your first item.. (as long as there wasnt a problem)...... from 20 each month they will rise... the next month they usually go to 40 or higher..... and lift automatically from there...

I don't want to call them as it is stealth, it may have been due to my own problems.

I had a couple of accounts where the limits didnt raise.. it was because i wasnt listing on them... if you are very active listing the limits will go up.... if they are sitting just dormant, the limits stay the same.

Hi, I have 6 accounts that are 4/5 months old with 100-180 feedback 100% feedback and they still have 100 limit on them.
Just guess they will lift them when they think, that is why it is best to have a few accounts and spread your listings.

As sometimes can use up the 100 within 7-10 days on accounts so as said best to spread them.

From what i understand there is no automatic anything, after 100 you will have to ring them unless its a personal account then they will want you to upgrade to business and to get passed the 100 ring them, either way to get passed 100 you will have to ring them.

Some account may not have to but i think they will have to be about 9-12 months old.

I spoke to Ebay this week on a 4 month old account. Limits were 100 and £3500

Raised to 100 - £15,000

According to them every account now gets limits. Their explanation was that because they had a lot of sellers who were selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods they now have to police it more. They suggested I open a shop and ask again in 30 days.

Foo-Foo strikes again!!

Be careful
Risk of calling is that the account(s) get checked . They sometimes refuse to lift the limits & ask for ID.

Go into your seller dashboard,,see when your Next "Review" is,,,wait 10 Days AFTER your Next Review,,if there were No Incidents (Incidents also Include Buyer Messages that Might Indicate something Negative, like Faulty Product, ect, ect) if you do NOT get an Automatic increase, and there was nothing wrong,,shoot them an E-mail,,,BUT,,Be Prepared to deal with Ebay asking for Drivers Licence, Utility Bills, Invoices, ect, ect,They most likely WILL ask,but they also may not,,,the alternative, is to wait till your Next review

i have recently had a massive increase automatically on a couple of accounts.
Shocked me, I can tell you, thought I was tripping.
Don't want to put the numbers on here (very paranoid person), but the increase was impressive - Im a bit confused to be honest.
I thought you couldnt get it over 100 automatically

Merry Christmas Everyone

Why say anything? Why keep it a secret? its only a number... Its not like we are asking what your selling. Sometimes there is too much paranoia.

There can never be too much paranoias - too many work arounds get shut down after being placed here.

If the poster doesn't want to put figures you have to respect that IMO - they have their reasons as do we all for what we do

NotAHappyBunny was just saying that her limits were automatically lifted - that's good news - maybe the boys are starting to feel the pinch and want us to sell more
