Default MC067/MC115 notice on the first day.

I'm trying to figure out what happened exactly.
I get 2 different emails from ebay both at the same time.. I received a MC067 and MC115 notice. I am suspended, not allowed back in!

I listed a Hello Kitty iPhone Case, item location Hong Kong (dropship) Was that it?

I signed up completely under stealth, new IP/MAC .. new paypal...
I verified my Entropay CC with ebay.

I thought I did everything right, I guess not.

1. You verified your eb with Entr op ay?

i verified with an offshore visa that i always use with pp and other auction sites, never had a problem

2. IS your PP Verified?

yes

3. What is the status of your pp?

unlimited, verified, personal

4. What was your feedback when selling?

0

5. You registered and RIGHT away tried to sell?

yes :(

now i know that might be stupid, but i thought that if the item is so cheap they will not be a pain in the as*...

Did you mention in your auction that the item was located in Hong Kong or that you were drop shipping? Those two things are frowned upon. Either way I'm almost positive it's because you listed right away on a new account. I always browse for a solid hour just clicking, searching random things, buy a couple cheap things or whatever I might need, and wait a couple days before my first listing.

(edit: Also, if you're going to use the Payp primarily for selling apply for the Premier or Business account, it's better)

I'm not sure what triggers the suspension but Ebay has really lost their mind with it... it's becoming absurd.

My best advice is that you want to look like someone who just joined ebay and is trying to get rid of junk in their house - try listing a pair of used sunglasses or anything like that. Listing price shouldn't be too low or too high - 3.99 or 2.99 is good.

Nah. It's because you aren't doing it right. There's a trick, but posting it on the forums will ruin it.

It depends on WHAT you sell and how frequently you sell for a new account.

i see dozen of times a lot of dudes with 0 feedback listing very high end designer brands.

I don't think the problem is that,i think is the fact the accoutn is brand new and you start selling right away when you are suposedly a newbie.

Tip for new accounts what was working for me at least, with the $1.95 Buy 2 items per day for the next 3 or 4 days, you can figure out what to buy,the people who sell this things know why you buy the items, this persons do that for the same reason you do"feedback".

Try that and start selling after you get your 5 feedbacks as buyer,Good luck

This makes interesting, but pretty baffling reading. I signed up with eBay a week ago. Have verified my PayPal account and linked it to my account. Browsed around for a few days to see what prices my stuff could expect.

After more than one email from eBay telling me to get started selling, I finally got around to listing my item this morning. Less than three hours later, I get two emails. One MC115 and one MC067.

Are you really not meant to sell with O reputation? Are you really not meant to sell on your first day?

As for me, I'm in Japan, but my credit card billing is in the UK. Would this cause problems? Aside from the suspension notice, there was no useful information from them at all, and I'm waiting on a reply. Who am I to argue with the most successful website online's way of doing things, but what a great welcome to the party. No warning that something was wrong, just kicked out. Nice.

There are a lot of don't dos in this thread. Lets forget for a minute that it is a stealth account.

Many people come to EB because they have something to sell. They don't know the things we do so they sign up, they list their item and away they go. They don't get restricted, banned or notices

So why is that?

Look at the way you build your accounts. Obviously we have certain work arounds but the 'straight goers' who come to EB & PP don't know of these work arounds. So they use their own credit cards, they use their own bank accounts and they use their own names and addresses.

They don't use Entropay, they don't use VCC or VBA and their details are on public record

EB and PP have little choice but to accept your VCC or your VBA because there are so many people who use them but couple that with the fact that none of your details are available for public scrutiny and what do you have?

I'll tell you what you have - you have someone sitting in front of a computer screen who looks at the whole thing and says "I may be wrong but I think we ought to ditch this one" - he/she then pushes a button and you get your notices

Ways around it? - sorry I don't know - but I do know that when you register a business account PROPERLY you do not get this carp and you can list from the get go with a degree of confidence

When I started, I sold junk.

Sold old toys from my children, barbies, my old alarm clock, anything, used shirts.

Anything junk, go to dollar tree buy somethings and sell them.

Never worry about other sellers.

Worry about your own account.

ebay could chop those sellers as I type.

iphone parts are risky.

iphone parts may not be real.

selling non-real parts is risky.

accounts get suspended because of that.

ebay plays that way.

I have noticed a few things since reading the stealth guide and joining this forum, I have only been selling on eBay since 1/02/2012, Keep that in mind.

1. listing on the same day account is created is beneficial, not hurtful.
2. listing more then 2 items in a 30 day period after opening account and letting it sit for 30 days is going to trump eBay to ask for ID.
3. The rules to this game keep changing.
4. Listing VeRO WILL get you suspended eventually.
5. If you list on the same day account is created, 1-2 items, sell or not, It is safe to open a second account W/ SAME info to share a PP account and list 1-2 items 1st month.
6. I could keep going but I will shut up for now.
7. refer to rule # 3.
