HI:
The only way i know, is if the person has multiple wins, then the screen comes up to combine purchases, then will allow the input of a diff pp address--
maybe turn off checkout-- in ebay references, and in auctiva, if used..then send them a google ck out or other??

I had this happen recently and what I did was the same as ebayhateluv said..

Turned off my checkout...when I did this my Paypal all of a sudden wouldn't accept payments...im not sure if thats exactly why but it was too much of a coincidence not to be...

Once the auctions end immediately start manually sending out invoices from a merchant account, hopefully your Paypal account wont accept payments, if so your buyers will start emailing you wondering why they can't pay...

My suggestion would be to sign up for a merchant account immediately if you don't have one so you can be ready when they end..

Yea I turned off checkout and hopefully they will wait to hear from me before putting money in. But in my experience they will stick their payments in right after winning either way.

If only I could change the paypal address or get it off the ads so money doesnt go in there!

Hatelove and Lizard king you two are gems!

After having a better look it looks like the paypal option wont even show once checkout has been switched off and so hopfully my customers will wait for invoices.

Any more suggestions peeps?

I will definately write back regarding the outcome.

You'll just have to wait now and make sure you get those invoices out right after the auctions if its possible..If you have a ton of invoices to do you might have some buyers getting to you first so make sure you have a decent story as to why they weren't able to pay..as they might become suspicious..also Ccnow accepts Paypal for you, and we all know how much they love Paypal...

Do you already know a method to obtain their emails so you can get those invoices out?

Dont i get their emails after the auction finishes?

Im thinking i'll ask them to put payment into and random email account I will just make up. Once the payments arrive I will promptly set up a new paypal and SPEND the money before the *******s can limit my account.

Im not familiar with ccnow so will read up on that now.

soulassasin, is this the second account that has been suspended since you
joined the forum? If it is, I would really recommend that you wait b4 you set up the next account. Go back over the threads (yeah sorry BUT it works) then make a plan from A to B about what you are going to do. Before you set up the next account make sure that ebay & payments are worked out: try not to be unprepared with payments for next time. In other words get that account up, running smoothly and working.

If you want a buyers email, what I do is go like im going to send an invoice from ebay, but I click "preview invoice" and it will list yours and the buyers email...copy and paste it to my merch invoice, and repeat...never actually send the ebay invoice though..

There may be an easier way but its the way I use..any other methods?

Ok I said I would post back.

Only one customer would pay outside of ebay. So I got this one guy to pay into an email that did not yet have a paypal account made yet. I then registered a paypal account and accepted his payment. I sent his item and with the payment left over I bought myself a movie. money would have been better but at least I got something.

Are you going to be able to have a merchant account in future? It will save
the hassles.

I also try to communicate with bidders that I think will definately win and hope they don't check the "hide email" box..then I have it all ready when the auction ends..
