Today, when at the post office, I bought a money order using debit/pin..my total included the packages I sent plus the total of the MO as one price..he said I can only use pin or cash for money orders...
My undertanding is using the pin qualifies into the spending limit...I called my bank to confirm this...they said they are separete if I exeeded my ATM withdraw limit thats fine becuase I can still use pin because that qualifies as spending limit..
So yes you can use your ATM limit...then buy a money order using pin up to your spending limit...they are separete...
hope this helps...
Also I got this from the USPS website:
Postal Money Orders are a safe, convenient, and economical alternative to sending cash through the mail. They can be purchased from any Post Office™ locations in the United States as well as from any rural route carrier, available up to $1,000 each. A current government-issued or state-issued picture identification is required for money order purchases of $3,000 or more in a single day.
