Default hold on Website Payments Pro

If you have a 21 day hold on your paypal account and sign up for website payments pro, are payments you receive with WPP held too? I have done a lot of googling and have not found any info regarding this. Thanks

I send a PPal invoice for about usd 150, received the payment and made a masspayment 12hours later. My masspayment was put on hold. It is still on hold now (1 week). There is no info on how much will it still be on hold.

If anyone else is wondering, I called Paypal and they said that yes they do hold the money from WPP and when they release the 21 day hold from your account (whenever that is) they could put it back on.

This is a very good question, recently I received a payment very large and on partner's website payments pro, I do have a PayPal PayFlow account linked to Worldpay Merchant account. Anyways, I can believe my partner's payment was placed on hold for 21 days on a website Payments Pro.

Could this also happened on an PP Payments Pro? Two separate products, one does offer virtual payments, the PayPal manager just says the current balance as opposed to having any batch files, we waited until the transaction cleared from the limitation which happened in less than 14 days. Never the less, who is out there to just default on a merchant account with PayPal. First of, you are being consider upon your credit score, I was debating this with my partner and his credit card credit reports came a week after and we were able to peek the PayPal hard credit inquiry. His credit scores is amazing don't get me wrong, but why paypal goes into so much trouble, he even had $200 held after that payment and 5 after. Sounds absolutely crazy, he moved to BraintreePayments.com, now wants to shut his PayPal and write to them, that he is moving because of the lack of batching and merchant control. I will completely agree, but I have talked him out of it.

Procurements you should understand when using PayPal Pro, is they really don't care, just want you to pay $5 or $25 for this stinky product, a batch file is a batch file, you're running a standard PayPal on a Merchant Account.

paypal hits any type of account with these holds.

At least we have found that ( to our horror).

When they start on your off ebay transactions, it is scary

The funniest part about this is now that you mentioned eBay Greenbean, is that PayPal had placed 21 days holds, before on sales connected to eBay automatically on my partner's account. Now, with one year and not one single chargeback (knock-on-wood), he does not get sales held.. Like, what is going on, after this I should mentioned for those individuals that might drop, or just search on this topic, eBay does send an email stating they're limiting (holding) payments on PayPal.

Two things you want to make sure you do, get a merchant account, and via their acceptable processors, and get PayFlow Link. I never get sales held on PayFlow even$2500, being my High ticket item. I believe, they're breaking laws and I hope they get shut down like liberty Reverse.. I don't like 'em, as do some of us here.
