Default paypal trap asking to confirm email address again!!

after years of using my account paypal pops up a message in my notifcations box to confirm my email address i did this when i opened my account years back so is this a trap to get me to click a link in my email? to confirm then i get hit with some travling cookies or some web becon s**t or somthing?

Sounds very much like a phishing email.
Have had x2 in the past 9 days. Hate them

Log into paypal via your browser. See what, if anything is there.

yea when i open paypal my notifacation says add mobile number which it always has,then right below that it asks me to confirm my email.

What should i do click the confirm link in my email then erase my cookies before going to any other window user ?

i dont know it just sounds fishy to me for them to ask after so long to confirm my email
again i havent added any new emails the ebay!

should i just check this confirm email at say a mall computer free use computer like at staples displays that way any becons would be stuck on that computer right?or just clear my cookies and ill be safe?

do you have a user specifically for this account, if yes, do it and confirm your email address as requested by them. Still odd them asking for that.

yea i have a seprate user for the account just seems fishy 2 me but i stay parinoid,
just seen my location settings on yahoo and cant be turned off it just said it only shares my location with other websites but not to other users that seems like a bad deal to me me had my right city and all whatta a deal!!!i guess google has this same feature just google my location settings and see what it pulls up!!!!!!!
