Question How do you know if account has holds?

How do you know if a paypal account has holds or not on it? I know it has to say your account has holds, but I have seem accounts with no holds and once you receive a payment it goes straight to holds. So any answers?

I have had accounts with holds on some items and others not... It probably depends on category of listing.

It would let you know when you list your item on EB. Sometimes they payment hold for high-risk items, sometimes EB has their own payment holds, sometimes PYPL has their own holds, and sometimes they put holds on payments when you sell too much and are receiving too much in the PYPL account. They're getting pretty ridiculous with those payment holds basically.

Don't forget source of payments - credit card vs. e-cheque vs. others...

We just discussed this in another thread.

I have accounts with no tag at the top about holds and no section showing money being held either.

Then, wham, sell something and the tag at the top says for now one your money will be held and the box showing the transaction shows back up with the money being held.
