Default Youtube Link in eBay Listings

I am selling this new product on eBay. There are youtube videos on this product. Like showing how it works and how to work this item. It will give my buyers a good look at my item instead of just a basic picture or stock photo.

My question is it a bad idea to add the video or possibly just the link going to the video on youtube? not sure if i am breaking any rules with this but i would guess i am not, Thanks

It is Allowed, but bare in mind, Ebay can be rescource hungry on a good day.. if you load Video content onto a listing.. can kinda lose the customers interest very quickly if they are sitting waiting to load. personalli i would move on to another item..

If it's a YouTube video you don't have to worry about it loading slowly.

The thing you do have to worry about is losing potential customers to YouTube. Someone clicks on your video, it'll take them to youtube and away from you auction.

How about if i just add the video to my listing instead of putting a link then?

check out item# 380002274234

They have it set up this way, it looks good and shouldnt drive the customer away right?

I would put it in but then again I never carred much about how slow the page loaded for dial up when i was on dial up if it took very long I just said the heck with it and moved on but it also depends on what your selling and how important the video is to sell iti would just make it open as a link in a new windowthen if they also surf through the new window you will get the credit
