Out of interest for myself in the near future, if you are using PP as a method on a website, is it still the same risk factor as if you're selling on eBay? I thought selling on eBay is always a higher risk.

Limitations etc still happen for payments through websites?

Depends on what you sell... I have read that people have issues with virtual goods outside ebay.

Paypal accepted me for paypal payment pro. They did credit checks on me using experian etc. and if anyone who has followed any of my threads would know, I am in dispute with MBNA at the moment for a default on a card. Paypal are witholding 20% of any sale I make as for now, however will be lifted at a later date, as to when that will happen, I guess only paypal knows.

All the best paypalpains - since the account is in your real info, you had best to tread lightly while you establish yourself.

Yes they apply limits.

Jury is out if the holds are 21 days. But funds do get held.

Depending on the business they might put in place a rolling reserve.

Few points to consider.

Have more than one payment processor.

Dont fall for having no access to your own monies.
Carefully select your main bank for business
Certain advantages are there for the choosing
