Bodemeister is favored at 3.9 to 1

Here is a link to Pinnacle Sports, one of the finest and safest online sports books in the world. Unfortunately, they pulled out of the US market due to pressures from the DOJ and I had to close my account!

I don't think Bodemeister is the favorite. He's 7-1 last I saw. The heavy favorite is Union Rags.

I like Bodemeister, Hansen, Dullahan, and Gemologist.

I'll probably spread some bets around. Some trifectas and maybe a superfecta. Always box them!

El Padrino could be a good long shot pick. He's trained by Todd Pletcher who has a stellar track record.

Bodemeister went out to an early lead and held that lead for most of the race. He turned in the fastest first five split times in the history of the race. Tremendous speed that will no doubt position him a favorite for the Preakness (shorter race).

He went off as the race favorite at 4-1

I bet a wheel so I was hoping that a horse with higher odds would come in 3rd..

It was a shame that I'll Have Another got scratched, but he'll be happy spending the rest of his life as a stud. His scratch also opened a lot of possibilities. Happy to say that my Trifecta Box hit nicely!! 3-4-9! $248 for every $1 bet!!! Very nice payout.
