Suspended as a buyer, nope. As a seller guaranteed, unless you post in the classifieds. My guess is you did something wrong is the registration/stealth process, but you arent giving much information, so it is pretty hard to help you out.

Huge mistake.

Why are people so crazy about getting fb?

I have not lost an account in a long, long time and never have the need to get fb.

I will get my fb the old fashioned way by selling items and shipping quick.

Please enlighten me on why are so many people wanting to build fb so quick?

Fully agree!

Quick shipping is really important aswell i think - I love it when customers give me FB asap due to fast shipping alone.

It's not a good idea buying cheap FB at all - E/B ain't completely stupid they will see it if they review your account.

£/$0.99 items that are useful may fly once in a while, but don't go crazy buying tons.

here is more information about what i did :
early this week , i bought a pre paid visa card, then i registered on paypal and ebay , everything went as it should be , i invented a good name and gave a legit street adress from a town i know, after i opend the ebay account , i bought 2 ebooks for feedback , and then i set up immidiately 3 listings , 1 for 100$ , second one fro 85$ , and third one for 100$ also, 5 min past by i got a suspention message.
then a day after that, i bought another prepaid card,
set up new accounts once again and pretty much did the same thing , buying cheap ebooks, but i tried to sell only 2 things, one for 100$ and the other for 85 $ , and later on another suspention message came to me and i was very angry at that,
Please let me learn some more on how to do it the right way this time .
THanks

Hello,

It seems you are rushing the whole stealth process, good you have a name/adresss setup and ready to go.

Don't buy the feedback on a brand new account like that.

And same goes for listing, it seems your listing items too fast, i think you just need to slow things down.

Heres an example of what you could do:

Once the account is setup

1.List an item of Day 3 of the new account, maybe list a used items in your house which you don't need.

2.Day 7 list a new item - but not a high risk like a iphone

3. Day 10 list 2 new items again not a high risk item.

4. Second month of your account you maybe able to try listing a higher risk item if you want.

Keep it slow, act new my friend

Don't try buy cheap ebooks for easy feedback maybe later on but never that early

Getting to be old news this thread - if you need to buy low end crap, sparse it out. Don`t look mechanical to eB - look as if you are a true user enjoying the system.

Yeah the amount of threads I have seen on this forum regarding "getting quick feedback" beggars belief. Just sell some cheap items you have lying around the house, you will have feedback in a few days

As a buyer a bought over 50 e-Books and wallpapers to build feedbacks and nothing went wrong, I guess some people are lucky, whilst others get a ban hammer.

good info in here. I have been using penny/free ship auctions to build up about 10 feedback first before selling anything... but I was also going to wait 30 days to sell.

so people in here are selling on new accounts on the 3rd day it was opened? without buying ANYTHING? nice. this will change my strategy.

i have 10 stealth accounts brewing... two of which have 100 item/5k selling limits

Why are you buying stuff to build feedback?, should you be selling?

Maybe so that potential buyers will assume that he's legit, not sure though.

that seems pretty reckless. lol. is it working for you? can you explain the usual sequence of events that follow? limits raised at 30 days? 90? unlimited by 180?

??

eBay lets you make your first sale without even creating a paypal, you can create the paypal after your received your first transaction, you can list your first non risky item just by choosing to pay your fees with a credit card.
Most of the time i create paypals before i sell on the account, but the days where i feel like making multiple accounts i just sell right when i create the account and then after the sell is done, I create the Paypal to receive the money wait a few days for the money to clear after you shipped your item than continue listing but not too much.

I don't think it is reckless at all? As long as your item isn't a risky item, ebay will not give you no problem on your first sale.
Limits seem to raise after 90 days because that's usually the grace period and i start all my accounts pretty slow regardless of how it was created, i don't hit the limits every month on new accounts. But after 90 days in my experience, you can push your accounts a little bit more and your limits should double every month after that.

@rsot it might be because i have us accounts and it might be different for Canada they might be looked at more strictly.
