Default Withdrawing to VCC/debit card possible in UK?

I have heard a rumor that it is possible to withdraw to a card in the UK, can anyone confirm this? Does anyone know of a publicly available debit card or VCC that allows this?

Withdrawing to a VCC is not possible. Perhaps you mean withdrawing to a cashplus card? You can do that, however it will not verify a PayPal account.

that is interesting about cashplus, so the routing and account numbers they provide can be added to paypal? I was scared to try in case it was a generic account they used for all cashplus members and PP limited me for it.

From I think "Cash Plus" they can be added to the PayPal account but I don't think it accepts the DD mandate, so you won't achieve the verified status of your PayPal account.

But the DD mandate has nothing to do with accepting the two small deposits

Your paypal account becomes 'verified' and stays 'verified' once you confirm the 2 deposits even if it gets kicked back.

listen,so if i request to set up a dd mandate with a savers that will not accept them and it gets knocked back.....

will the two small deposits still go in and get the account verified

if so,ultimately...you can use a savers to get verified!

Yes but you have to be very fast and watch your bank account and add the two small deposits as soon as they hit your bank because i have known pp to remove the bank account same day as deposits hit the bank, but as you say this will verify your account, if and when they remove the savers (Doesn't always happen) you can just add another saves and leave it unconfirmed.

paypal like you to add the card attached to the bank too, this is sometimes key to whether you have to submit ID or not, using vcc you will always be asked for ID but not the same if you add the card attached to your bank account, the problem is the avs but i have an easy way round this now.

Minor correction, or perhaps a change in the services provided, but cashplus DOES accept direct debit mandates. I've just used it on a pp, am also awaiting the micro deposits.
It's got me wondering if it might also be usable for withdrawals now.

Anecdotal - Paypal have adopted a policy wherby if you withdraw to Cashplus they will call you each time you withdraw. As I say anecdotal - but be warned - it is now a major flag - been hit too hard on open forums I'm afraid
