Default my idea for getting feedback - bid on my own auctions for Local Pickup payment

well i open 2 brand new ebay accounts right. make sure i log on them with different ip, clean cookies, watch a few items etc etc. now i list an auction that doesn't costs much and make sure the item is BIG. Now Delivery will be 'Pick up'. now come on with pick up you can't really scam anyone. just get my other new ebay account to bid on it and make it wins. say you did a pick up and paid cash for the item and leave feedback. so if you making about 10-20 accounts i reakon you can get about 5 feedback on each account. as so usually you should do this slowly. let me know what you think about this idea

Sounds like a reasonable idea, allthough i think its easier just to sell some low value items (sims, stickers etc) at a loss if need be and get feedback that way.

well alot of people sell old furniture for like 20-40 bucks and second hand tv's and other big items so i doubt i will get suss if i do it alot. i think ebay will think that your a new ebay member tryin to sell some old furniture or some old junk online. i reakon selling small items that costs 1-5 bucks with 0 feedback puts a red flag for ebay. i think

So if you price it at a penny and as local pickup, then well you have to do it as an auction and you also can't do it dutch either as I just saw this: eBay.com Fees

"Multiple Item Auction (Dutch Auction) listings have a minimum price of $0.99."

So you can sell a receipe for a penny as local pickup but you'll have to shell out a bunch in ebay fees.

pretend to sell your computer desk and make it sound really sh!tty like its got dins here and there its about 20 years old. some parts are damaged and im guessing it would sell for about 20 bucks. and 20 bucks doesn't generate alot of ebay fees

I don't see what the big deal is with feedback. I sell just as well with '0' feedback accounts than with 50+ feedback accounts.

I agree feedback helps in the long run but sometimes you do just as well with none.

people have more "trust" with sellers that have high feedback...it makes sense, generally if you try to sell with low feedback buyers are more wary and they try to push you around

As a buyer I buy from (0) all the time, you can get stuff cheaper and faster, a first time seller usually gets stuff out fast..

alot of times I get stuff to resell you can tell when something sells real high then a bunch of people that never sell anything or rarely use their account with 1 or 2 fb and a year old is trying to get that same price but get like 1/2...I get those cause I know I can get the high price for it...

As a seller w/ low fb I make my starting price high and low shipping, and drop them as I get around 20 100% and up shipping, cause I know I will get more bidders and lookers in niche categories

What I learned a long time ago is that no matter what is it you're selling if you keep on posting the same item over and over in auction style with no reserve the price will eventually drop way down.

If its high demand then you'll get a good price each time, I usually sell multiples but wait a week or 2 inbetween and wait to be the only one listed...

penny auctions don`t work for me. the price of my item buy it now price is about 50-70 bucks. i have about 9 feedback accepting paypal. all 3 auctions starting at 99 cents only when for about 30-45 bucks max. and on one of my items it had 23 people watching it and it only went up to 45 bucks and buy it now was about 70..... how G**. last year i was about to sell this product for 80-100 easy

Well the thing about penny auctions is they get you out of the ZERO. It would be nice to even have 1 feedback but just not 0.
