What proportion of eBay suspensions are down to PayPal?
As in the title. I notice that eBay accounts are often fine until PayPal has a problem, and once PayPal decides to throw a fit, then your eBay account goes down too. Often for stupid things like the PayPal employee assigned to look at your ID/supplier information having a bad day and being an ass, and once that happens there is no going back. But they tell me before that they are separate entitities, but surely what they do shows that they can't they think for themselves? WTF?
In my experience, if you take payment by methods other than PayPal you can sell almost indefinitely. But once you use PayPal the chances of your eBay account being suspended go way up, since they are far more picky and eBay suddenly become one and the same as PayPal. I'd hazard a guess that it is around the 70-80% mark at the very least, down to PayPal. PayPal seems to be a lot more temperamental than eBay. They become "separate" and "one and the same" as and when it suits them...
