Just opening a new pp , will it accept a mobile number or does it have to be landline ?

A prepaid number will work. Just make sure the number hasn't been used on a suspended or limited account before.

Mobile number is fine, but you will need a landline number to sell on eBay.

im not sure if thats true

ive got 10 + accounts and none have landline numbers at all

Exactly. I just used some Soho66 numbers (all routed to the same mobile phone) and that was all that was required.
