Hi- it is the Gateway in which the cc's are accepted...Many folks here use ot..It also integrates with most shop carts..Some folks say they get it free..I got mine approved through my local bank..My fees are $30-$80/month per acct + I pd like $125 setup fee..but my disc rate is 1.2....search posts for authnet...also-on main page under Merchant acct alternative ..I am no expert in this regards- many others here are..Good Luck!

If anything get Merchant Plus, it's a reseller of authorize.net and uses authorize.net without all the cost. I pay $20 a month for mine, it I can use it for tons of things, including this forum.

I talked to Ebay Live Help today--i'm still legit so I don't care--i'm gonna waste their time all I can.

Anyway, I asked the process for approval for CCnow--they said it will not be approved and is not accepted. They referred me to ebay for viable merchant account--none of which I have EVER heard of and most are not in the US--Merchant Plus wasn't even on there.

I personally wanted to get some back up accounts going as suggested here--with NO paypal. Want to get a merchant account and MUST have something with it that accepts darn Paypal--brainwashers!!

Anyone know any merchant accounts and subs that are still being approved that accept PP pymts.

Thanks

I use authorize.net with auction checkout. I like it although my customers want paypal. But it works well, and the money is in my account within 2 business days.

Authorize.net still is getting approved last I heard. CCNow is out of it.

And there are a few others that work as well,

For all the posts and comments i have read, regarding " Paypal being a Dead End..." well.. i suggest people get there heads round the fact, that Eventually, if you wish to sell on Ebay, regardless of what country you reside in at the moment.. Ebay are heading to the final goal of the "ONLY" payment method allowed on the site will be Paypal.. and some homework shall need to be applied on opening and being able to keep open Paypal

Whether this is Legal, or not, plainly does not interest Ebay, Ask the Aussie's come June whether Ebay can do this..

Scouse, I couldn't agree more. I've already stated that it will be most pointless people offering merchant accounts as payment in most cases, as soon when paypal is compulsory in the US, people will simply use PP instead of CC.

Give it a year or so, and I think every ebay seller around the globe will be forced into accepting PP. Not just a standard PP, but either a business or premier PP.
