'New Identity Verification Requirements'.
I noticed this policy update announcement by PayPal today: Quote:
Effective Date: May 7, 2008
PayPal Private Limited will be amending the above mentioned policies to reflect several changes to its product. These changes include the addition of two currencies Mexican Peso and Israeli New Shekel, and their related fees; the removal of certain countries from the Payments and Fees Policies; the modification and change in name for credit card verification, and clarification of several new identity verification requirements for PayPal accounts.
| Anyone know what this is about? The usual legal blabla for their policy or something new coming our way? I can't imagine any different identity verification methods other than bank account or credit card. I can't see them having millions of PayPal users fax in their proof of address or their passport.
It says 'clarification'. So that means it may be something that's already there?
