Running a firewall - any effect / issues with EBAY ?

Does anyone have a firewall on there computer..and if so, do u see any change in the way your accounts react to ebay's system. The reason Im asking is because my modem has a built in firewall inside of it...and I just recently turned it off to build my website but im also still selling on ebay..I just wanted to know how accounts effected.
