Yes, but having a corresponding telephone number and a bank account with a Head Office address as opposed to a branch address will strengthen it somewhat.
I assume you also have access to the proposed address?

Telephone number is not a problem as im using soho66
address is also not an issue, im planning to sell cheap items on this account less than £10.00 so i can afford to give it to my buyer for free if they wasnt happy with their item.
what do you mean by '' bank account with a head office address'' ?
all you need is a mobile nowadays anyhow, so landlines are not 100% necessary.
people move house all the time, or have a branch near their work, doubt local branch address is looked at, and needs matching to area you are supposed to live in. Doubt it is a factor they look at. However if in doubt apply for an online bank that only has a HQ address and sortcode, no branches.
actually alot of high street banks have online applications now and you get an account at a regional centre which is not your local branch, it could have a county HQ for example.
HSBC is one.
