Default Any books you guys can recommend?

I am not talking about random books. I actually despise reading books. Believe it or not but i have actually never read a whole book in my life. The farthest i've gotten is like 30 pages. And seriously that is the one thing that can actually put me to sleep from having so little interest in it.

The books that i would actually enjoy reading are something that interests me. Not some story about a kid flying kites or some kid growing up and telling a story about it. Now to give you an idea what i am looking for is something along these topics. Not saying they must be about it but im looking for something around this area.

Secrets of the world (for example what the govt hides from us)
Business ( interesting facts or things that would be really useful to know)
Law ( anything that would be useful in life, tricks or things to know)

I can go on and on with this and i still don't think i could get you guys to understand what i am looking for. But basically a book that has facts and is really interesting and useful to my life as the same time. I know you guys have to some books to recommend to me. I am going to visit borders tomorrow to see what they got. Just wanted to see if i could maybe pick something up that someone already read and knew it was good. Any ideas/recommendations are welcome!

Going from your other posts I would recommend looking at works about Steve Jobs.

His authorized bio (Steve Jobs: A Biography) is great.

Steve Jobs, Thinking Differently might also appeal. (In that you can put the book down & pick it up again to read.)

There's also The FBI File on Steve Jobs. Mind blowing

Another idea is to look through the bargain bin at Borders.

Since reading is not your forte you could still find something & at a reasonable cost.

The whole "the girls who..." books - really amazing - don't watch the film, it is arse gravy in comparison. It's got espionage, weird hot girls, guns, ebay, sex, coffee - man what else could you want!? Oh maybe there is no eB.

There is unfortunately only three books - I have never read books back to back but these ones made that happen.

No kites? Damn. The kite runner is an incredible book too - avoid the film at all costs. Read it, watch your opinion of the middle east change.

If you just want some easy reading to get into the swing of things pick up some early Stephen King, most of it is proper holiday reading trash. But it can be pretty good too.

Never read a book?
