Anyone recommend a free/paid for encryption program for an SD card or memory stick?

I feel nows the time to start protecting sensitive data.

I know of software that protects documents looking for that or for entire USB/Folders?

I want something to protect a whole folder. I don't want to have to encrypt each individual document, that'll be too time consuming.

Have you thought about creating a new gmail account and keeping your info there? Physically it doesn't exists and can't be unlocked. Simple!

Perhaps, however it would only take google to shut down the account and i'll lose my data. Not good.
