Default Do you think I am pushing the limits with my bank?

I have a lot of PayPal/Amazon Stealth accounts each linked to a separate bank accounts. When I go to withdraw cash from my Chase account I have like 8 different bank accounts with them, the bank teller always gives me weird looks lol. What sucks about my accounts with Bank of America is it shows my stealth accounts name on each bank account when I get a deposit, which sucks because I have six accounts with them. Am I pushing my limits with the bank for having that many accounts? How many bank accounts should I have per a bank, like 3-4?

If I posted this in the wrong section please move it.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

8 seems like a lot but if you withdrew from the ATM then you would not get these dirty looks and come to think of it no matter how many accounts i have had with a bank, i think just about every teller has given me dirty looks!

Why not just open an account with another bank and spread it over more than one single bank?
Not that difficult to do and very simple to set up. Plenty of banks out there.

Was gonna say the same thing- is there a reason you're doing it in person not via machine?

No looks here, but then again I have never even seen the teller at most banks... Just ATM or transfers....

2-3 is a good number per bank - best to spread.

I would use local branches from top accounts and build a relationship, incase I ever run into a problem I have built a relationship with them etc. A human can bypass computers and stop checks, payments etc even if its against a banks policy. My dad taught me the this

Otherwise if you have a few accounts with the same bank and they can see the incoming name, then its best to use the atm. Ive read thats how the post office catches people running scams, they see the same type of packaging coming from different names/addresses.

Thats all you need is a teller looking to become a manager, notices you have many accounts getting payments from stealth accounts. Banks dont like that, and all she has to do is report that.....

Sounds like a solid strategy for small town... I know around here there are rotating doors for employees at most banks.... Here you only need a GED to work teller and they are low paid...

The reason I go inside to withdraw cash is because I take out 2-3 grand a day, I buy and resell stuff off craigslist lol.

I don't see any problems taking out that much. I do that with NFCU but not everyday.

I am going to close four accounts and open them back up with another bank. And I don't really sell a lot on my stealth accounts, mainly on main Amazon account. I will sell stuff like broken phones I can't list on Amazon on my stealth eBay accounts.

2-3k a day? That is extremely risky if they can see incoming deposits with different names......I would not do it.

i would say closing 4 accounts at one time would be seen as proof of shadiness. do things slowly. just my opinion

Now you are being stupid.

Closing accounts then opening fresh again will get you marked.

All your banking activity is traceable and flagged.

Your deposits alone have flagged the accounts.

Have you made NO study of US banking laws?

I have no problems with being stealth. But I have problems when bank accounts are used and draw bad attention to the account holder.

You appear to have a pattern of banking that will invoke problems

Absolutely correct. Closing accounts then opening new ones is a #1 sign of "something isn't right here." WAY too fishy. And withdrawing $2k-$3k per DAY will definitely raise flags. The majority of people (those who just work average jobs) only make $3k-$4k a MONTH if they are lucky. Thus, the majority of people, including these bank employees, will think something fishy is going on.

I would resort to ATM withdraws. Sure there's a limit, but it's better than being busted.

HOWEVER, I have read that bank of america and chase are the top banks to use for stealth accounts since they don't really care if the names dont match for deposits.

stay frosty

Are these regular everyday accounts or business accounts.

Business accounts are much better for situations like these.

How is making more (and consequently, withdrawing more) money than most people "fishy"? What is the problem with that? It's none of their business how much money someone makes.

I'm not sure about the US, but in the UK, you'd need to go into branch to withdraw that much... ATM withdrawals top out at £250-£400 per day depending on the bank. So it could take over a week to withdraw the figure that he wants. I'd just go to the branch and ignore the strange looks, lol.
