Default sending a lot of "gifts"

Hello,

I send a lot of "gifts" from one paypal to another.
The reason I do this is that occasionally I have to pay some people by paypal, and these people have foreign accounts so my bank will charge me 2% if I fund these payments using my bank.

So I need to have a positive balance and I send a gift from one of my paypal accounts to another, and then pay these people.

I do probably around 2,000 a month.

If I keep doing this, will I get limited?

2,000 gift transactions or $2000 monetary value?

Never a good idea to do 'gifts' like that

Have you mass pay?

shudders

It will raise a LOT of attention.
So yes in the end you are more than likely to get limited - along with all the other accounts you sent payments to.

sorry for the confusion, $2000 not 2000 transcactions.

I have mass pay but i dont want to pay $1. well, I would rather not pay it, but i would if necessary.

Which one will raise attention?
me sending a gift from my first paypal to my second paypal
or me sending gifts from my second paypal to all these people?
or both?

I'll be blunt. I am tired & hungry too.

The WHOLE manner in which you are operating has the potential to kill your account

Not wanting to spend a $1 here or $2 there is long term false economy

Rethink the plan

no problem, I love blunt people.
So sending a mass payment will not raise red flags?

Aren't they charging regular fees (3-4%) for sending as 'Gift' now???? It just gives the option to the sender on whether they pay the fee, or the seller does. Still no protection though...

Hmmm. They MUST do it at random. I just tried to send $300 as Gift to a friend now and it didn't give me an option of choosing to pay for the fee, or letting the seller. Just said the fee was $0.00. That's good.

However, not too long ago I tried to send around $300 as Gift to a friend and it DID give me the option of choosing to pay the specified amount for the fee - or letting the seller pay it.

US to foreign account >> small fee

Cant you just pay these people with a credit/debit card. Why even send that much money through paypal. The only thing I send that much money from paypal to anywhere is to my bank.

I pay my hard drive supplier, in the US, with paypal but I use my debit card through paypal in a ebay/paypal buyers account only.

I rarely send anything "gift, but from the horror stories here and in other places it's not worth it to send anything "gift".
