With a BIN listing the buyer has to pay what your asking for it, it could be days before anybody buys it.
An auction the buyer thinks they can get a good deal if the bidding starts low enough. Eventually a bunch of people end up bidding on it and you might get more then you were asking for listing it this way then you did with a BIN.
This has been my experience anyways, I guess it would really depend on what you were selling and whether or not it's an in demand type item.
It feels like buyers would rather try and get a bargain with an auction for something they feel they can get cheaper then a buy it now. | That is only true if you do not know what to price your item at. I'm not looking to give deals to everyone. I have a product they want, I do not want to give it away
