Sometimes items have the warranty period on the listing. Those that do not mean you need to do a search via the amazon site.
There's specific instructions on amazon about how to do everything including getting return address labels.
amazon co uk offers what they term a one year basic warranty.

The manufacturer would have their own. Their websites are listed on amazon co uk.

If the item is bosch & sold by a dealer, their warranty terms are return to dealer during period of warranty. Length of warranty depends on item too.

There should also be the bog-standard UK laws applicable for warranty That gives protection too

it is not a dealer, it is sold by eg. bosch, nothing about warranties on listing. so assuming bosch HQ would take it back. Suppose they way to deal with it is to ask the question beforehand.

The short answer is YES. many things to look for though. Mainly, that it is legit, not refurbished or stolen. it has to be brand new and serial number has never been registered before with the manufacturer.
for the second question - you ship it to bosch. after you register the product with them.

you can go back to the manufacturer as long as the seller is an authorized dealer. the manufacturer warranty only starts once it's sold and the invoice is proof of that

When there are no warranties on listings, you go to the Help Pages.

Usually under How do I do returns you will find the procedure.

I'm not sure if you mean the item is a BOSCH or it's just a for example name.

BOSCH UK has very very very well defined warranty terms.

Should one of their brand new items be faulty, buyer gives the item to seller.
Bosch deals with the seller to fix the problem.
Bosch do not expect the buyer to ship the item back directly

Not always so in the UK or Australia. There are some quirky laws regarding returns under warranty

Some manufacturers do not want that done.

Yeah I guess the flag matters too lol. Return rules are more relaxed in US and in my opinion to much relaxed, i've processed my portion of no-sense returns in my life time!
