Default amazon prime keeps causing me to get banned.

i buy stuff off amazon and dropship through ebay. I use amazon primes free shipping. I keep getting my account cancelled for using prime to resell. Any way around this?

I've been using gift cards but one, I have to pay $5 a card and two I don't get the rewards points on my credit card.

Hardly amazon prime that keeps you getting banned.

It's your own chosen business plan.

Consider changing it.

Well it isn't fraud. if that is what you want to call it. I'm using real info. Yes it is against their rules to dropship but it certainly isn't fraud.

And why the hell can't you dropship. they are making money. It's the stupidest rule I've ever heard. Why would a company turn down business. I do over a quarter million in sales a year.

It's because you may not have the inventory.... they don't want you selling if you don't have it.

No one has read the post, or at least I understand the seller is SELLING on eBay, and simply ordering cheap product from Amazon with free prime shipping, and sending it direct to the ebay customers - Amazon is loosing there ass on prime, since normal people dont buy so much stuff all sent to unique address, and its a possible Fraud Risk in chargebacks so the prime account is being canceled. You can't use prime to fullfill orders - its against the rules of Prime, and his only option is set up tons of prime accounts or quit trying to play the arbitrage game.

It is under "Other Limitations" at the link below:

Prime members are not permitted to purchase products for the purpose of resale or to ship to their customers or potential customers using Prime benefits.

ebay doesn't like anyone dropshipping because you can't guarantee you have the inventory.... guess prime doesn't like it because they're offering bigger discounts, and they can't afford to ship it everywhere. It would be undercutting itself.

I was thinking of doing this too. (Prime account and having them ship to buyer from Ebay)

I would think the only way around it, is to have orders over $25 cause they get free shipping (depending on item) any way. Interesting though...

How many items were you shipping a month?

Why not buy in bulk from Amazon and sell legit on Ebay?
If it's so cheap it should move and when it doesn't just ask for refund for any reason and return them..

Good idea. I think the whole point is that you don't have to pay for shipping so it makes the profit higher. But I didn't realize it wasn't allowed through Prime to do that (but would make sense why it wouldn't be).

Funny this came up because I JUST got an e-mail from AZ saying that they have concerns regarding the ordering behavior with Amazon Student Prime... purchasing activity is similar to users using their account for resale...etc. No action is being taken at this time, apparently it was just a warning e-mail.

I used this account as a seller acccount but it got the shaft, using it currently for personal, and to drop ship stuff when my dropshipper screw's up and I need product. They are good...

This will quickly turn into them revoking the prime. How long have you been signed up and using it?

I've been a prime member for a while now, probably since they started the program. I just started using it to drop ship some stuff within in the last year. I think I only do it a couple times a month when I HAVE to.

I think my mistake was ordering 3 expensive SSD drives they had recently on clearance to re-sell.

The only reason Amazon cancels prime is when the scales of profitability tip from their favor.

When you excessively purchase from them (especially using the free 2 day shipping) and get items sent to multiple addresses, then they send you that nice "warning" note. Unless you decide to stop ordering multiples of items to different addresses, and only purchase normal quantities getting them sent right to you they will cancel your prime within a few weeks of sending that "warning".

You can open new buyer accounts with new emails without going stealth. I've used the same credit card, name etc. Usually after setup, the new prime account would last 2 months or more depending on the frequency of purchases. If you are purchasing lots of stuff, the $79 fee is well worth it. But if you have a seller account attached this will cause suspension or deletion of it within a few months.
