Default What exactly are low risk categories

I'm looking to start selling again on Amazon, but want to start slow in low-risk categories. I've searched to see if there is a suggested list, but no one really spelled out what the low risk categories are, not even in Ghost. All I could find were the high-risk categories (basically anything related to media that can easily be copied/⊗⊗⊗⊗)

I've accumulated a physical inventory of what I think are low-risk categories. For example, a board game that was popular in the 90's brand new, a few diet/nutritional pills, a dvd burner I found on clearance, a game pad you add on to your PS3, and a few toys.

Any thoughts/recommendations? Thanks!

I don't think you will be able to sell toys, per Amz only allows certain people to be able to do that- at least for the holidays. I am not sure if board games fall into that category. I would think books would be low risk, but I am only guessing.

Not sure about the diet pills per if they are not approved by the FDA then maybe that makes them high risk??

I am just throwing stuff out there and really have no idea. I hope that helps some though

Upon further research (lol I sound like a big dork), it does seem that I should NOT list in the toy category because Amazon is hard core especially this time of the year. Another suggestions/comments?

You won't be able to sell in the toys cat coming up to xmas unless you meet certain criteria so if its a new acct then it will be a No.

Pills will come under health products and you need to be approved by AMZ before you can sell them.

I sell some health products (diet shakes) and I did not have to get approved to sell them. But they are not diet pills, so I am not sure about that.

ShoeLaces are pretty safe,,,seriously,,just try to avoid looking for Hot Brands,,,Stick to finding hot "Products" instead,,,For example think along the lines of selling a "Tablet" as opposed to an "ipad"
