Default second month and still no increase hmmm

ok so its my second month - oct 2012 and the limit of 10 has been placed again.

even after taking the advice of ...

a - updating ebay and paypal to business.

b - linking the ebay and paypal account

what do i do , please advice ?

if i click on the link that says request higher selling will ebay ask to send in documents or should i wait for 90 days ?

thank you

You can wait for 90 days, but that'll achieve nothing.

You need to request higher allowances.

Make sure you have a verified paypal account and access to the address before doing so.

They usually increase it in the next review date after the 90 days mark, so it could be 100 or 110 days and every 30 days from then.

I personally never contact eBay to request an increase. Contacting them just makes them take a closer look at your account, which you definitely don't want them to do.

Yes. 90 days is the ball park figure for my newer UK accounts.

No earlier.

Sell to your limits.... do not list 'short' of what you are permitted to sell.

Look and be a great little seller in the eyes of ebay.

@mrkashmir - build your business - wait 90 days - why dont you make new accounts and spread the head?

If you link your verified PayPal to your eBay by clicking "request higher selling limits" you should get 25/100 limits. So what is stopping you form doing that

If your PP is verified with a bank attached you should increase it to 25.

Then create a few more and do the same.

Its not worth opening several accounts because you have a 50% chance of ebay noticing that your opening several accounts to spread this as a newbie and you could end up losing all your accounts.

Anyone doing this i honestly think you should not go on about doing this !

Best way would be to let 1 account mature and then if you want to add more accounts you will look better and you can list more on all.

So patience is the way, build feedbacks then after 90 days youll be good in longterm.

Thats my strategy now. yup.

peace.

50%? You just making this figure up? Ha I know tons of people with 20+ accounts who operate link free so ...dont make up stats to support your claims.

The 50% stat is likely to be true because its relating to a stealth account with several new accounts so this can trigger ebay staff to investigate.

Peace.

If you make your accounts correctly, they should be able to withstand a manual review.

If not, then I'd not have thought there was any point in making new accounts.

I've got 2 accounts that are over 90 days old, still on 25 items per month.

A bit annoying that they're not being increased as they've both got good feedback (one has 50, the other has 30) with no negatives.

Saying that, I have another account that's just under 90 days old and it's got no limits at all.

They work in funny ways do EB/PP!

Its likely that someone reported listings on those accounts, although eBay took no visible action reports will stunt the increases.

Hey - would you know if it's still possible to request higher limits even if your first sale hasn't been 90 days?

Yes. You can do it straight after registering if you likr. The OP still seems to have ignored the posts advising him to do it though a few times now...

Oh, and opening multiple accounts won't trigger anything as long as they are all created link free. To be honest it seems like you've made your mind up OP and don't want to change your way of thinking regardless of what we tell you, but you will have to if you want to be successful on eBay using stealth methods.

I only run a hand full vs some people on here, they run into the hundreds of accounts. I never have had any problems with linking. Some other problems, yes, but never to linking
