Default Accidently transferred money from stealth paypal to bank thats not mine!

Hello everyone, today I've made a stupid mistake by transferring money from my stealth paypal, that I purchased not long ago from a seller here, to it's bank account that came with the paypal as verification instead of my own bank account.
I'm searching on the google and currently the answer's I find are no, I can't stop the transfer once it's initiated.
I've contacted the seller and explained the situation.

I'm wondering what you guys have to say, this is quite a bit of money I worked for and don't want to lose it.

oh rats. That's messy.

Only echecks can not be stopped.

Should try ( at least) to cancel with paypal

Was that bank account a VBA?

If it still says pending, call them up and they will stop it with no awkward questions. I know GB will say its risky but I've done it before and it's been fine.

If it says completed, I suspect it'll be returned to your account. I don't really know how VBAs work but I guess the account will be closed?

Why are you asking us what to do? Common sense would have told you to call Paypal and cancel the withdrawal IMMEDIATELY

I'm using google voice with the paypal/ebay and I'm not sure how I would call them without exposing my real number since it has been banned.

risky or otherwise, if a transfer can be stopped with a call, that's what is done.

Yikes - yes speak to your seller immediately. You could also call up pp to ask for a block but chances are rough.

Hello and thank you for everyone's help. I'll be attempting my first call with paypal while on stealth and attempt to cancel the transfer in a few hours since they are not available at this time.

By the way, most of these VBAs DO get closed automatically by the bank so it is quite likely your money will be attempted to deposit then FAIL, and return to pp. At that point, you will be asked for new bank account.

Few members have told me about this from months past

You can reading glasses to the "what rsot needs" list.

Some have posted that when you call paypal with what ever number that they don't link you in any way. For just use Google Voice to call them. Don't afraid of paypal.

You find it hard to speak with a gruff voice? It`s not so complicated.

Was it fun being 50.. I was pretty nervous. Anyways, the transaction was reversed without question and I will now withdraw to My bank. I want to thank most of you, especially GreenBean™. Thanks!

I always give my stealth ages as older than my true age because I have a deep voice

lol....I once worked in a call center taking over 100 calls a day...it's amazing how many people do not "sound" like there age....for most call center workers they really don't pay it that much attention. I've read many times of folks worrying about this. I wouldn't really.

Now if you are a woman and sound like a man that does raise the fraud alert at least a little :-).

Search around the forum, I have mentioned millions of times that they do NOT track your number when you call them directly.
