Default Will paypal give out your confirmed address to a buyer if they paid for a "service"?

Sold a world of warcraft account and sent the invoice as a "service" and the buyer opened a dispute 3 days later. I had withdrawn the money before that and my account is showing a negative. The buyer is now threatening to "find me". Does paypal give out your address to buyers if they demand it?

Ok so the guy got his money back was it a WoW account that wasn't what you described???

Also I really don't think you have anything to worry about with the buyer finding you but sounds like you have a world of problems with PayPal

If you sold it through ebay they will have your address, If you sold it outside of ebay I don't believe they give it out for a service but Im not for sure. I wouldn't worry about him anyway. If someone threatened me I would threaten them back 10 times over. Tell him if he threatens you again you'll come to his house and rip his f?!King head off!!

I hate people like that. All over a few bucks wich he got back. Your the one in the hole not him.

PM me his email address and I'll have a "little" chat with him for you.

To: Bbruceuk From what I gathered, Paypal already refunded the guy his money and hes still being a jackoff. Thats probably why his account is negative now.

PP wont just give address but it does show up on the payment slip for the buyer. He will see whatever address you have on your pp account....

re read item and yes it would appear thats the case or at least pp have held the cash and will refund in due time so in that case your course of action may be appropriate.

Good info guys. I sent a paypal invoice listed as service to his email and he paid that way.

It was outside of ebay.

Looked at the invoice and it only showed the buyers address, not mines.

They haven't refunded the buyer the money back yet as he opened up a dispute a few days ago. I had already used the money before he opened up the dispute. It was showing $0 after I used it all up and then when the buyer opened up the dispute, my account went into negative. Even if paypal does side with the buyer, I don't see how he will get paid as there is no money in there. Maybe paypal pays him back with the negative balance that is showing?

There is to many variables in the info to know the outcome.
Is it a stealth pp account ?
Is it linked to your bank account ?
Is it a large amount or small ?
And yes paypal will pay him back if you do nothing to stop this regardless if you have balance or not then they will come after you to recover this amount , this is when a stealth or non stealth account info helps .
Either way its not worth spoiling a decent PP account over a warcraft game ..
Put some money into your account grant him a refund and take it on the chin ..
Theres other ways to beat the system ...

I had said that my first reaction would be to threaten the guy hardcore, but thats just me. I myself get extremely upset when threatened. I just can't help it.
But the best advice I can give is to forget about his dumbass, and concentrated on getting your Paypal account out of the red asap. I have been in the red quite a few times with Paypal with many different accounts over the years and if you don't take care of it very soon, they will limit your account. As far as that jackoff threatening you, I'm sure he wont do a damn thing. He's just one of the many a$!holes in this world. Forget about him.
